Job summary

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare in Evansville, IN seeks a full-time House Manager to lead daily residential operations, coordinate housing resources, and enforce program guidelines in a trauma-informed setting for women in recovery.

You will train staff, supervise residents, ensure safety, document incidents, and connect families with supports such as housing, transportation, and benefits. This role requires strong communication, boundaries, and crisis management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in residential services, substance use treatment, recovery housing, or behavioral health.
• CPR, First Aid, naloxone training and de-escalation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily residential operations, household routines, supplies, maintenance, and safety.
• Orient residents to house expectations, schedules, emergency procedures, rights, and program agreements.
• Enforce guidelines through coaching, documentation, and escalation; maintain trauma-informed environment.
• Promote independence, daily living skills, treatment participation, and recovery goals.
• Assist with care coordination and connections to housing, transportation, benefits, employment, education, childcare, and recovery resources.
