Job summary

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare seeks a Part-Time Addiction Recovery Assistant in Evansville, IN to join our residential SUD programs. The role includes admitting clients, monitoring vitals, and facilitating classes and testing to support recovery efforts.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and strong interpersonal and writing skills. A valid driver’s license is required, with background checks and drug screening part of the process. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and writing skills.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain company vehicle liability insurance.
• Background checks including county/state, CPS, sex offender registry, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Take inquiries and complete admissions paperwork, maintain charts.
• Monitor vital signs and complete required documentation.
• Facilitate educational classes and drug/alcohol testing.
• Provide supportive services and a safe environment for clients.
• Supervise client activities and assist with transportation to activities.
• Attend to housekeeping duties as necessary.
