Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a full-time House Manager to lead daily operations of the Stepping Forward Women residence in Evansville, IN. You will provide structure, support, and recovery-focused oversight to residents, ensuring a safe, trauma-informed environment that promotes independence and accountability.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating housing and services, enforcing program guidelines, managing documentation, and supporting residents in daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in residential services, substance use treatment, recovery housing, behavioral health, or services for pregnant or parenting women.
• Supervision experience preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, naloxone, and de-escalation/crisis intervention training.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily residential operations, household routines, supplies, maintenance, and safety.
• Orient residents to house expectations, schedules, emergency procedures, rights, and program agreements.
• Enforce program guidelines and resident agreements through coaching, redirection, documentation, and escalation.
• Maintain a structured, trauma-informed recovery environment that promotes respectful interactions and healthy boundaries.
• Promote resident independence, daily living skills, treatment participation, and individualized recovery goals.
• Assist with care coordination and connections to housing, transportation, benefits, employment, education, and recovery resources.
• Facilitate approved recovery-support, life-skills, and psychoeducational classes within authority.
• Reinforce treatment plans, share observations, and participate in treatment-team meetings.
• Monitor financial agreements and coordinate records and billing.
