The Peer Company in Portland, OR is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide 1:1 peer support to individuals in recovery at the BHRC Day Center. You will help design person-directed recovery plans, work with a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for participants’ goals while maintaining compliant documentation.

Requirements include lived recovery experience, trauma-informed approach, and a willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening per policy.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted per policy; prior record not necessarily blocking.
• Pre-hire drug screening required for safety and compliance.

• Provide 1:1 peer support to individuals in recovery.
• Collaborate to create Person Directed Plans for recovery.
• Participate in peer supervision sessions.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to support PDPs.
• Attend meetings to communicate program objectives and advocate for participants.
• Document services and maintain compliant records.
