Job summary

The Peer Company is seeking a 1.0 FTE Peer Support Specialist at our Portland recovery campus. This role provides peer support to individuals in recovery who are receiving health services, working within an interdisciplinary team to develop person-directed recovery plans, and ensuring connection to community resources.

Ideal candidates have lived recovery experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate electronic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Criminal background check will be conducted per policy.
• Pre-hire drug screening required for safety and compliance.
• MVR driving standards apply for driving positions.
• Must have lived recovery experience with SUD; recovery from mental health is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 peer support to diverse individuals.
• Collaborate with IMPACT team and social workers.
• Develop person-directed recovery plans with participants.
• Attend huddle meetings and coordinate with care teams.
• Document services in program database with compliance.
