Job summary

The Peer Company is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to join the Center for Addictions Triage and Treatment (CATT) Drop-in Center in Hillsboro, OR. This 1.0 full-time role offers weekday afternoon hours (11am–7pm) with benefits and an emphasis on recovery-based peer support.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team to help participants develop their recovery plans and connect with community resources, while meeting reporting requirements and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background checks and driving standards per company policy.
• Pre-hire drug screening required.
• Reliable transportation may be required for some duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 peer support to diverse individuals.
• Collaborate to create Person Directed Plans (PDPs).
• Participate in regular peer support supervision sessions.
• Collaborate with other providers to support PDPs.
• Attend meetings to communicate objectives and advocate for participants.
• Document support services in program databases to ensure compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation as required.
• Meet performance expectations per contract deliverables.
• Be a positive role model and maintain professional boundaries.
• Follow abuse reporting laws and HIPAA requirements.
