Job summary

Qualifications

• Identifies as having at least 2 years of lived experience in recovery.
• Experience with mental health recovery is desirable.
• Understands the principles of trauma-informed care, recovery, and consumer-involvement.
• Certification as Peer Support Specialist or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides 1:1 peer support to individuals.
• Collaborates with individuals to create Person Directed Plans.
• Participates in regular peer support supervision.
• Documents support services in a program database.
• Acts as a positive role model for individuals exploring their path to wellness.
