Job summary

Argon Agency is seeking a compassionate Case Manager to support clients through recovery, developing assessments, individualized treatment and aftercare plans, and assisting with administrative and legal documentation. You will work within a dedicated treatment team, maintaining client confidentiality and professional standards.

The role requires at least 1 year in a substance abuse setting, RADT certification, strong communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in substance abuse treatment or related healthcare.
• RADT required; CADC-I preferred.
• Knowledge of FMLA, disability and legal documentation.
• Strong confidentiality knowledge (state & federal).
• Familiar with Ohio health standards and Joint Commission.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Adheres to ethics in ambulatory behavioral healthcare.
• Proficient with clinical documentation platforms.
• Aware of workplace safety and anti-drug policies.

Responsibilities

• Complete Case Management Needs Assessments and SNAP forms for all clients.
• Create and implement individualized Case Management Treatment Plans.
• Develop comprehensive Aftercare Plans for long-term recovery.
• Facilitate weekly case management groups.
• Assist with FMLA, return-to-work documentation, and legal matters.
• Obtain required signatures for patient documentation.
• Maintain regular client contact and meetings.
• Maintain professionalism and model positive mental health behaviours.
• Protect client rights and confidentiality per laws.
• Respond calmly in high-stress situations.
• Operate independently amid interruptions and shifting priorities.
