The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is recruiting for a Records Program Associate - Limited Term Employment position.

This LTE position is headquartered in 3502 Kinsman Blvd Madison, WI and is required to work full time, 5 days per week in the office.

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, this position assists with the management and coordination of the bureau’s records management system and is responsible for auditing and organizing records, scanning, and tracking documents.This position also assists with front desk activities.

Under specific DTSD and DTSD Bureau direction, this position will assist in reaching the following goals:

  • Scan Geotechnical Engineering documents
  • Organizing Geotech records in an electronic document management system
  • Providing Quality Assurance
  • Assisting with front desk activities

This position requires on a regular basis the ability to lift and carry files, boxed records, and equipment up to 40 pounds, climb ladders, bend and stoop, work in closed storage areas

This position is in schedule-range 07-03 with an hourly pay rate of $22.76.

This state agency does not sponsor work visas.This state agency is not enrolled in USCIS E-Verify and is not eligible to employ international F-1 students seeking STEM-OPT extension.Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.

Prior to any appointments for position(s) filled from this announcement, candidates may be subject to a comprehensive criminal background check which may include FBI fingerprinting.

This is a Limited Term Employment (LTE) position and limited to 1,039 hours in 26 consecutive pay periods (1 year).

Wisconsin residency is required for Limited Term Employment positions.

Limited Term Employment (LTE) positions are not civil service classified positions, do not give any rights to permanent civil service classified positions and do not lead to permanent status.

Qualifications

A minimally qualified candidate must have experience in all of the following:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam Revu
  • Experience with digitization (scanning) and organization of documents would be preferred
