Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter in Myrtle Beach, SC, to support reconstruction efforts with minimal supervision and participate in scope development with BELFOR Estimators. The role blends residential, commercial and multi-family projects as part of a progressive carpenter track.

You will work on framing, cabinetry, trim, insulation, and related carpentry tasks, travel periodically, and may require nights and weekends. Superior problem-solving and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience across residential, commercial and multi-family projects.
• Ability to supervise unskilled labor and coordinate basic contractor tasks.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to BELFOR standards.

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential problems and seek guidance when needed.
• Protect and move contents without damage; maintain work areas to reduce dust and debris.
• Perform carpentry tasks including framing, cabinetry, trim, insulation and exterior siding as required.
• Meet deadlines and complete training courses as required.
