Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter to provide operational support in reconstruction efforts. The candidate should have extensive carpentry experience and the ability to work with little supervision, assist with scope development with BELFOR Estimators, and run projects autonomously.

This role aims to expand capabilities from residential to commercial and multi-family projects, develop basic carpentry skills in others, and progress within the BELFOR track.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry across residential, commercial and multi-family projects.
• Ability to supervise unskilled labor and coordinate with subs.
• Proven attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify project issues and seek guidance when needed.
• Protect contents and move items without damage.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt, and contaminants.
• Perform tasks related to framing, trim, cabinetry, doors and insulation.
• Complete shrink wrap training and participate in projects requiring shrink wrap.
