Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter to provide operational support in reconstruction efforts. The role requires extensive carpentry experience and the ability to work with minimal supervision, assisting with scope development with BELFOR Estimators and advancing the Progressive Carpenter track to level 3.

The position includes completing training, handling a range of material knowledge across trim, cabinetry, insulation, and rough framing, and occasional travel or night/weekend work as

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience required.
• Capable of working with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential project problems and request guidance as needed.
• Answer questions and route complex queries to the right resource.
• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt and contaminants.
• Use BELFOR methods for floodcutting, salvaging and labeling baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.
• Attend and complete shrink wrap training and four shrink wrap projects.
• Identify insulation types and their R-values.
• Apply skills to trim, doors, cabinetry, insulation, framing, ceilings, roofing, and siding.
