Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter to provide operational support in reconstruction with extensive carpentry experience and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will assist with scope development with BELFOR Estimators and run projects autonomously.

The role includes supervising junior carpenters, expanding residential work to commercial projects, and performing emergency services while occasionally traveling and working nights/weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience and ability to work with little supervision.
• Supervision of unskilled labor and occasional subcontractors.
• Willingness to travel periodically and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential problems and seek guidance as needed.
• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt and contaminants.
• Perform floodcutting, salvaging and labeling baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.
• Attend and complete shrink wrap training and projects.
