Job summary

BELFOR, a leading provider of restoration services in the United States, is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter to support reconstruction efforts. The role requires extensive carpentry experience, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboration with BELFOR estimators on project scope.

This level 3 position focuses on expanding residential work to commercial/multi-family projects and self-performing emergency services.

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience is required.
• Ability to supervise basic BELFOR crew and occasional sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Identify project issues and seek guidance as needed.
• Answer questions and direct complex queries to the right resource.
• Move and protect contents to prevent damages.
• Create containment for dust and debris in work areas.
• Perform flood-cutting, salvage, and labeling of baseboards and cabinetry.
• Complete shrink wrap training and four shrink wrap projects as required.
• Identify insulation types and their R-values.
• Apply trim, doors, cabinetry, insulation, framing, ceilings, roofing, and siding knowledge to tasks.
