BELFOR is seeking an experienced Advanced Carpenter to support reconstruction projects and train junior team members. This role involves overseeing multiple sites, installing commercial construction elements, and applying BELFOR methods for containment and salvage.

Qualifications

• Supervision of unskilled labor, Basic and Intermediate level BELFOR employees, and occasional sub-contractors
• Answer simple project questions and know when to defer to qualified personnel
• Maintain equipment used in daily tasks

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential problems and seek guidance
• Training of Carpenter Basic and Intermediate team members
• Answer questions and direct to appropriate resource
• Construct containment for construction dust and contaminants
• Build Metal Framed Walls, Acoustical Ceilings, Roofing repairs as required
• Use BELFOR methods for flood cutting and salvaging baseboards, cabinets, doors
• Identify insulation types and R-values
• Apply skills to Trim, Doors, Cabinetry, Insulation, Framing, Ceilings, Roofing, Siding
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks
• Meet BELFOR standards for safeguarding property
• Maintain attention to detail and timelines
• Work nights/weekends as needed and travel periodically
• Report time worked and materials used timely
• Attend BELFOR safety training courses
