Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Experienced Carpenter—Progressive Track Level 4—to lead and support large-scale commercial reconstruction projects. You will train basic to intermediate carpenters, guide crews, and ensure adherence to BELFOR methods and safety standards.

Responsibilities include project problem-solving, containment setup, and performing tasks from framing to roofing. Nights, weekends, and travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising unskilled labor and crews in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential problems and request guidance.
• Train Carpenter Basic and Carpenter Intermediate team members.
• Answer project questions and direct complex questions to the right resource.
• Construct containment for construction dust and contaminants.
• Assemble metal framed walls, acoustical ceilings, roofing repairs as needed.
• Perform flood cut, salvage, and labeling tasks.
• Identify insulation types and R-values; apply related materials.
