Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Reconditioning Manager to supervise an Inspection Center team, directing daily operations and ensuring high-quality vehicle reconditioning standards. You will oversee 5 leads and up to 70 front-line associates in a lean manufacturing setting, driving continuous improvement and engagement while meeting quality, production, and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience leading and developing associates.
• Proven ability to deliver project milestones and meet metrics.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Mentor and develop direct reports and succession plans.
• Contribute to strategic plans and goals alignment with company.
• Ensure adherence to standards, procedures, and performance targets.
• Create a productive, collaborative environment aligned with Carvana values.
• Maintain supervisory staff including recruitment, orientation, and training.
• Ensure training and certification processes are consistently executed.
• Provide feedback to leads and associates to improve competence.
• Support production planning and capacity management across lines.
• Ensure health, safety, and loss prevention guidelines are followed.
• Guide the team to meet performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
