H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the office. You’ll greet clients, manage scheduling, check-ins, and support daily operations alongside tax professionals in person.

This role offers training and a path toward tax preparation or office leadership. It requires exceptional people skills, the ability to multitask during busy periods, confidentiality with client information, and availability evenings and weekends during tax

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborate with team and serve clients professionally.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, Teams, scheduling systems).
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming first impression as the face of the office
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience
• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care
