Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking an individual to support warehouse operations at Hazleton, PA. The role focuses on helping the team meet daily load targets, maintaining accurate inventories, and ensuring safe, efficient processes in a fast-paced environment.

The incumbent will train operatives, supervise workload distribution, and coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor to achieve production KPIs and quality standards while prioritizing safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is required.
• Experience with SAP Warehouse Management System is required (1–3 years).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment under pressure.
• Accurate data entry and daily reporting skills.
• Strong time management, organization and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation to meet targets and customer demand.
• Train new warehouse operatives.
• Ensure inventories are accurate and stock movements are recorded.
• Identify system improvements and recommend changes.
• Review ways to reduce waste or damage.
• Assist in planning future capacity requirements.
• Communicate priorities and requirements to staff; report progress to Supervisor/Manager.
• Demonstrate supervisory/team-leader skills in coordinating a team.
