Job summary

ProStaff Workforce Solutions seeks a hands-on Warehouse Lead to keep operations running smoothly, oversee receiving, inventory, and outbound shipments, and coordinate with carriers. You will lead a team, ensure accuracy, and use equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts in a fast-paced environment.

The role is contract-to-hire with a standard warehouse schedule and on-site work in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse team or supervisory role.
• Proven experience picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately.
• Experience receiving, inspecting, organizing incoming merchandise.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Ability to coordinate with dispatch and schedule shipments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse team operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and on time
• Receive and organize incoming merchandise
• Load and unload trucks (inbound and outbound)
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse
• Optimize inventory storage to maximize space
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and manage shipping documentation
• Apply shipping rates correctly and scan packages as they leave
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
