Job summary

KW Property Management & Consulting in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving/Shipping Clerk to support package intake, inventory, and delivery to Front Desk. This role emphasizes accuracy, MS Office use, and adherence to safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires lifting up to 30 lbs, occasional contractor coordination, and solid communication with management and front desk staff. Day shifts and weekend coverage are included.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a related position.
• Six months to one year in related experience and/or training.
• Bi-lingual a plus; English and Spanish.
• Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming packages and logs information on packing slip into resident software.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
• Delivers packages to Front Desk at times, and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
• Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents.
• Maintains contractor log and contractor badge system; logs, audits, and verifies access.
• Communicates with Management Office each time a contractor arrives with building materials or furniture deliveries to ensure elevator deposits are provided.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
