Job summary

Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support on-site shipping and receiving operations. You will verify and process goods for the hotel, coordinating with Food & Beverage and other departments to ensure timely deliveries and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of receiving experience, a high school diploma, and strong math and communication skills. This role requires the ability to stand and lift up to 250 lbs, with competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of shipping and/or receiving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills needed to order hotel’s required items.
• Must understand how to track deliveries and outgoing items.
• Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to 5 hours and lift up to 250 lbs as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Food & Beverage leadership to receive all Food and Beverage products according to hotel needs and specifications.
• Monitor grades and quality of products received to ensure they meet hotel standards.
• Participate in monthly departmental meetings in Food and Beverage.
• Attend work regularly and be available on a routine basis.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
