Job summary

Citizens Energy Group in Indiana is seeking a Receivables Management Specialist I to handle credit and collections, processing payments, deposits, refunds, and balance transfers within the Customer Information System. The role aims to improve cash flow by resolving unposted payments and misapplied transactions.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong PC skills, and solid written and verbal communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in PC and standard business software applications.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, transaction-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Process credit and collections transactions in the Customer Information System and related requests.
Improve receivables by resolving misapplied and unposted payments.
Complete and analyze recurring reports to support cash flow and bad debt reduction.
Participate in ongoing employee training and development activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
