Job summary

ITAC Solutions is seeking a rebate expert to manage vendor rebates during a critical rollout for a national distributor. You will become the go-to resource for rebate accuracy across thousands of locations, initially supporting the team before taking the reins solo.

This contract role spans ~7 months, with emphasis on GAAP-compliant reporting, tooling, and internal SOP development. Join a pivotal phase in revenue recognition and drive rebate visibility across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in rebate accounting or contract administration.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot, lookups, reconciliation.
• Experience with rebate platforms and ERP integrations.
• Comfort working independently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and validate rebate programs within a vendor rebate management platform.
• Calculate and reconcile monthly rebate accruals and billing.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant rebate reporting.
• Resolve vendor discrepancies and monitor open receivables.
• Build SOPs and train users on rebate processes.
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards for rebate visibility.

You'll become the go-to resource for vendor rebate accuracy across a network that touches thousands of locations, working directly alongside the team you're replacing before taking the reins solo. Compensation

• $35-45/hr, contract role running approximately 7 months.

• Background in distribution, automotive, or multi-entity environments preferred
• Hands-on experience withrebate platforms
• ERP integration or financial system implementation experience
• Comfort working independently against tight deadlines
