Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Realty Project Coach to join the Realty Execution team in the US. You will own the delivery of store and club remodels, new stores, and special projects, ensuring they finish on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will supervise hourly team members and collaborate with store leadership, with frequent travel to sites across the country. Primary shifts are overnight, requiring strong coordination with store teams, suppliers, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Have reliable transportation.
• All associates in role January 1, 2021 or after will need to sign an updated JD including the above language (but will not be impacted).

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of projects in your assigned stores, including remodels and new store openings.
• Supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and coordinate with store leadership to keep projects on track.
• Travel frequently to project sites across the US and communicate plans and obstacles to stakeholders.
• Develop associates through supervision, training, mentoring, and recognition.
