Job summary

United Launch Alliance seeks a Software Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in designing, integrating, testing, and deploying software for simulation and flight-ground environments. You’ll shadow engineers, work on embedded and real-time systems, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced mission-driven setting.

We require a sophomore-year completion or higher and current enrollment in a STEM bachelor’s program for Fall 2027, plus the ability to work full-time for a 10-week

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with plans to enroll Fall 2027.
• Active pursuit of a full-time internship for summer 2027 (10 weeks).
• Experience in C++, C, JavaScript, Python, Shell, and Perl is expected.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, integrate, test and deploy software products.
• Maintain engineering software infrastructure for real-time systems and labs.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers across projects.
• Ensure software quality through standards and lifecycle processes.
• Assist in planning, requirements, verification, and risk analyses.
