Qualifications

• Active pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.
• Must plan to be enrolled in Fall Semester 2027.
• Able to work full‑time for a minimum of 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
• Experience in software languages: C++, C, JavaScript, Python, Shell, Perl.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work at Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, integrate, test and deploy software products
• Maintain engineering software infrastructure supporting real‑time systems and labs
• Collaborate with hardware and analysis engineers on embedded and simulation software systems
• Apply standards and processes to ensure software quality control
• Perform planning, requirements management, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses
• Develop software that simulates physical systems and real‑time operations
• Develop and use advanced GUI and visualization tools
• Support engineers and shadow operations on larger projects
