Job summary

United Launch Alliance invites applications for a Mechanical Engineering Intern role. You will gain hands-on experience in flight hardware analysis, design support, and systems-engineering exposure while shadowing experienced engineers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in STEM, maintaining a 3.0+ GPA, and available for a 10-week summer internship. Proficiency with NX/NASTRAN/SolidWorks/CREO and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; unofficial transcript required if interviewed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for certain locations.
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s in a STEM field and enrolled Fall 2027.
• Eligible for a full-time 10-week summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing flight hardware and assist in design and development of future hardware.
• Conduct data analysis and contribute to analysis methodology improvement projects.
• Support travel to suppliers, customers, or other locations as needed.
• Shadow experienced engineers and contribute to day-to-day project tasks.
