Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience analyzing flight hardware, assisting in the design and development of future hardware, and supporting various launch activities.

You will shadow engineers, perform data analysis, and participate in tool-design improvements while travel to suppliers or other ULA locations as needed. Must be enrolled in a STEM bachelor's program and commit to 10 weeks in Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum college GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale at the time of application.
• Must have a valid driver's license for certain locations in AL/CA/FL/Pueblo, CO; travel may be required.
• Active pursuing a bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to complete full-time internship for a minimum of 10 weeks during Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on existing flight hardware and assist in design and development of future hardware.
• Perform analysis for completed and future launches; test and gain exposure to systems engineering and related functions.
• Interns may travel to suppliers, customers, or other ULA locations; support one or more experienced engineers.
