Job summary

United Launch Alliance invites you to join as a Quality Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across flight hardware analysis, quality assurance, and systems engineering while supporting ongoing missions.

You will shadow experienced engineers, participate in data analysis and root-cause activities, and may travel to suppliers. Strong STEM focus and enrollment in Fall 2027 required; 3.0+ GPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.
• Must be enrolled in Fall Semester 2027.
• Ability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks in Summer 2027.
• Exposure to root cause analysis methodology.
• Familiarity with basic engineering analysis tools (NX, SAP/Q-Notes/TeamCenter, SPC, Minitab).

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience through analysis on existing flight hardware and participate in launches.
• Perform causal analysis for non-conformances.
• Contribute to data analysis projects and process improvement efforts.
• Shadow operations and assist in day-to-day engineering tasks.
• Travel to suppliers may be required.
