Divergent is seeking a talented Software Developer for its Robotics & AI Software team in the United States. You will develop and implement algorithms for task and motion planning, computer vision, and robot coordination, collaborating with automation and software engineers to deliver robust robotic solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Robotics or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient in C++ and Python; strong data structures and algorithms.
• Exposure to robot planning, kinematics, and interoperability with ROS/MoveIt.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software development best practices for robotics.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate software products with robot platforms.
• Design and implement planning, perception, and control algorithms for robotics.
• Test and validate computer vision components and robot motion planning.
• Document code, algorithms, and user manuals; stay current with robotics advances.
• Contribute fresh ideas to improve efficiency and robustness of systems.
