Divergent is seeking a talented Software Developer to join the Robotics & AI Software team. You will develop and implement algorithms for task and motion planning plus computer vision in robotic systems, collaborating with automation and software engineers to deliver reliable software solutions.

You will contribute to design, development, and testing of software aimed at improving efficiency and reliability of robotic software algorithms, including symbolic planning, kinematics, collision

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's in CS, Robotics or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient in C++ and Python; strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Experience with robot planning, motion planning, and computer vision is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software development best practices for high-quality code and releases.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration with other software products.
• Work with senior engineers to develop software for robot task and motion planning.
• Design and optimize algorithms within the planning framework; apply robotics principles.
• Assist in integrating and testing computer vision software for robust performance.
• Document code, algorithms, and procedures to support future development.
• Stay updated on robotics planning technologies and contribute new ideas.
