ThoughtSpot is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Manager in Chicago to own CI end-to-end, feeding talking points into live deals and briefing the field before competitors launch.

You will build battlecards, support major sales opportunities, and train the field on competitive positioning. The role sits within Product Marketing with strong cross‑functional influence and a hybrid in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in B2B SaaS, specifically in the data and analytics space.
• Hands-on CI, market research, or sales engineering—not from the sidelines.
• Familiar with modern AI analytics stacks and storytelling to inform sales.
• Strong communication and ability to influence at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Own the competitive program end-to-end: monitor and dissect direct competitors; provide messaging, feature launches, roadmap signals, pricing moves, and org shifts before deals.
• Build and maintain sales-facing battlecards and quick-reference guides used mid-call.
• Support major sales opportunities with tailored talking points and live customer input.
• Teach sales/marketing how to position against competitors.
• Present win/loss analysis and market insight to executives with data storytelling.
• Signal product marketing with ongoing competitive movement and market assessments.
