Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking an energetic Sales Associate in the Myrtle Beach area to drive new home sales by leveraging MAS strategies and Realtor relationships. You will demonstrate value, handle showings with agents and buyers, and work with peers to grow into a Sales Counselor, meeting Real Estate license requirements where applicable.

You will connect buyers with agents, manage CRM for prospecting, promote listings, and coordinate with mortgage and title teams to support timely closings.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RE License required.
• 3–5 years of experience in commissioned sales.
• Computer proficient and ability to understand financial principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prospect, build relationships, and develop marketing strategies.
• Professional appearance and presentation.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Embrace MAS philosophy and strategies.
• Accomplish sales, closing, and customer service goals.
• Train to become a Sales Counselor.
• Prospect for opportunities to influence agents and brokers within the DSA.
• Proactively utilize CRM to manage prospecting, sales, and communication.
• Help connect unrepresented homebuyers to real estate agents.
• Partner with teams to ensure listings look pristine for buyers and agents.
• Present Meritage Purchase Agreement professionally and explain details.
• Ensure timely buyer paperwork and internal reporting.
