Job summary

TruWest is seeking a Real Estate Quality Assurance Specialist to independently review real estate loan files for accuracy and compliance. This role ensures adherence to credit union policies, underwriting guidelines, and investor requirements while identifying exceptions and guiding corrective actions.

The position collaborates with Mortgage teams, communicating findings and training to improve loan quality, and escalates complex regulatory matters as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate lending, loan origination, servicing, underwriting, or QA processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex QA issues.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, underwriting guidelines, investor requirements, and QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA reviews of real estate loan files to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies, procedures, and investor guidelines.
• Identify exceptions, propose corrective actions, and monitor findings through resolution.
• Communicate findings, provide coaching and training to Mortgage employees and leaders.
