Job summary

Truist is seeking a Real Estate Analyst leader to manage CRE analysis within a loan production office. You will provide high-level analytical support for mortgage loan submissions and assist in underwriting, approvals and closings.

You will train analysts, supervise workloads, and engage with borrowers and lenders to build relationships. You will analyze complex property and financials, review third-party reports, and ensure submissions meet lender requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent training.
• Three years as CRE analyst/broker/agent or equivalent.
• Completion of MBA/Real Estate Finance related seminars preferred.
• CCIM designation required or preferred.
• Proficient with CRE analysis software (Argus) and databases (Lotus Notes).
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities; ability to manage and supervise others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail and deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office; willing to travel onsite for engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial real estate analysis function in loan production offices.
• Provide high level analytical support for mortgage loan submissions and underwriting.
• Train loan production analysts and supervise their workload and output.
• Interact with borrowers and lenders; develop relationships.
• Analyze leases and income/expense data to estimate NOI and cash flows.
• Coordinate third party reports and appraisals for loan submissions/closing.
• Monitor loan submissions through closing and negotiate terms with producers.
