Zippy is seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance to lead pre-close and post-close loan reviews across the origination lifecycle. You will coach QA analysts, manage performance, and ensure findings align with policy and investor requirements.

You will partner with Origination, Underwriting, Compliance, and Technology to reduce repeat issues, strengthen controls, and improve throughput while maintaining quality in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience across mortgage, consumer lending, and loan operations.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience with coaching and performance management.
• Expertise in end-to-end loan origination lifecycle and ability to evaluate complete files.
• Experience overseeing pre-close and post-close quality reviews.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with ability to navigate multiple systems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and communicate findings clearly.

• Lead and develop a team of QA professionals across pre-close and post-close loan reviews.
• Establish expectations, conduct regular feedback, and manage performance concerns.
• Oversee QA reviews ensuring accuracy, timely completion, and audit-ready evidence.
• Monitor throughput, pipeline volume, aging, and service-level risk.
• Escalate material risks and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
• Translate QA data into actionable insights for managers and leadership.
• Maintain subject matter expertise across end-to-end loan origination processes.
