We've titled this 'Paralegal', but that is not a requirement of this position, it's just where we tend to find strong candidates. It is a requirement that you've had strong experience in the nuts and bolts of commercial real estate transactions.

This role is designed for a battle-tested title professional - someone who has done the work, understands the details of commercial escrow and title operations, and has versatile experience in both the title and escrow sides.

This role is also for someone who is ready to drive business. You're a social person, and interacting with people is your favorite part of business. You've developed strong relationships with clients, attorneys, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, developers, lenders + and you're willing to bet that clients will follow you wherever you go. You're looking to capitalize on your career having built these relationships, place that bet on yourself and find a company to join that can support you and compensate you to maximize your value.

The Commercial Escrow Officer role at TitleEQ is one of - if not the - highest paying positions in the marketplace for any comparative role for someone with the skills and talent in which we're seeking. Your day will mostly consist of communicating with our most important clients and constituents on complex and sensitive transactions. You will be accountable for a pipeline of transactions with unbreakable deadlines. You'll have a strong support team around you, but you are the quarterback.

Core Responsibilities

• Ownership: you'll be accountable for your pipeline of commercial transactions. Ensure files move efficiently, accurately, and compliantly from open to close. Identify bottlenecks, risks, and inefficiencies - and fix them. Own technical processes and be responsible to execute on adjustments as needed.


• Communication and attitude/outlook: our success is a result of our ability to stay calm under pressure and (over)communicate good and bad news with clients and teammates.

We work on Softpro and it's great if you have Softpro experience, but it's not required.
