Job summary

LHH in Houston seeks a paralegal to support sophisticated commercial real estate and real estate finance transactions alongside a collaborative team of attorneys.

You will manage transactions from LOI through closing, coordinate closings, review title commitments, and draft loan-related documents while enjoying a hybrid work schedule after onboarding and firm-paid parking or METRO pass.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; paralegal certification is preferred.
• Experience reviewing title commitments and surveys.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial real estate transactions from LOI through closing
• Coordinate and facilitate transaction closings
• Prepare closing checklists and closing binders
• Review title commitments and surveys
• Conduct UCC searches and related diligence
• Draft transaction and loan-related documentation
• Assist with commercial real estate finance matters
• Form entities and manage Secretary of State filings
• Prepare organizational documents, amendments, certificates, and related filings
• Coordinate with title companies, lenders, opposing counsel, and clients
• Support attorneys throughout the transaction lifecycle
