Job summary

Compass, a Chicago-based real estate platform, is seeking a Commission Specialist to reconcile and process commissions for both sales and rental closings. You will ensure accuracy and timely completion of all commission processing while supporting agents and the Finance and Accounting teams.

In this role you will work with the Product & Engineering team on transaction systems and respond to commission inquiries, striving for compliant, precise payouts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree is required.
• Real estate license is required.
• 2+ years in accounting or payroll, commissions or sales environment preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Issue and track commission payments to agents and deductions.
• Process closed transactions in the real estate system.
• Ensure accurate commission calculations and policy compliance.
• Provide agent support for inquiries about payouts and deductions.
• Respond promptly to correspondence from agents and sales managers.
