Job summary

Compass in Chicago seeks a Transaction Coordinator to manage all compliance and administrative aspects of listings, transactions, and commissions. You will interact with Agents daily to facilitate smooth closings and support lenders, attorneys, and title companies through each contract process.

You will track documents, deadlines, and payment details, ensuring accuracy and timely updates across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in real estate transaction-processing or related coordination role.
• Strong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to digest contracts and make informed decisions.
• Maintain confidentiality of agent contract data.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Real estate experience preferred.
• BA/BS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle document tracking from listing to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements.
• Ensure real estate contracts are processed promptly with attention to detail.
• Manage and track contract deadlines to meet timelines.
• Validate accuracy of compliance and commission records in company systems.
• Provide support to Agents regarding commission payouts, deductions, and calculations.
• Collaborate with sales managers and other support teams to assist agents.
