Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Real Estate Development Attorney / Land Use Attorney for a leading law firm in Kalamazoo. The ideal candidate will have a JD from an ABA-accredited school, admission to the MI bar, and 2+ years in commercial real estate, development, land use, zoning, energy and sustainability, regulatory, or related practice areas.

This role requires onsite work in Kalamazoo at least 3 days per week, with remote days 1–2 days per week.

Job Details

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to MI state bar
• 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate, development, land use, zoning, energy & sustainability, municipal law, regulatory, or related practice areas preferred
• Experience working with developers, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and consultants on development projects is a plus
• Interest in developing expertise in renewable energy and sustainability policies against the backdrop of rapidly evolving technologies
• Willingness to work onsite in Kalamazoo at least 3 days per week
