Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of land use matters, including real estate transactions, zoning laws, environmental regulations, and property rights.
  • Review and interpret local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to land use and real estate development.
  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings, negotiations, and public hearings.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and regulatory documents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance in all land use and real estate activities.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the organization\'s interests and minimize legal risks.
  • Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to land use and real estate law.
  • Provide training to other staff members on legal matters related to land use and real estate law.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Land Use Attorney or a similar role in the legal industry.
  • Expert knowledge of Real Estate Law, Legal Compliance, Environmental Law, and Legal Interpretation.
