Job summary

CRH Americas Materials is seeking a Ready Mix Performance Improvement Manager for the West Division (Finance). This role leads lean initiatives across multiple states to drive operational excellence, cost leadership and margin improvements.

You will coach teams, run capability-building activities, and partner with site leaders to implement AMAT tools. The position requires 5+ years in ready-mix operations, hands-on plant experience, and travel about 50% in the western United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in ready mix with team leadership.
• Experience with ready mix performance tools (AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3).
• Proven ability to develop relationships and to work with teams as both a leader and a participant.
• Hands-on technical experience with plant systems, quality control, field application of automation and data collection.
• Site assessments including reviewing and approving tactical implementation plans.
• Training, coaching and mentoring with leadership and frontline.
• Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at sites, including pre-visit diagnosis, on-site assessment, post-visit analysis and prioritization.
• Analyze plant production efficiencies while maintaining product specification and quality.
• Optimize plant operations to meet sales demand cost-effectively and maximize margin.
• Align production planning with demand forecast, mine plan, and commercial strategy.
• Support plant-level production scheduling aligned with margin targets.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and sell the best-fit OpEx strategy.
• Lead change management initiatives across sites and drive sustainability.
