Job summary

CRH Americas Materials is seeking a Ready Mix Performance Improvement Manager to lead operational improvements across multiple western sites. You will champion lean methodologies to drive cost leadership and margin tactics, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The role includes capability-building activities such as training and coaching, with 50% travel within the western United States. Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $140,000, plus a 15% bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operational experience in ready mix.
• Experience with ready mix performance tools (AggFlow, PEAK, PRISM, B2W, DF3).
• Proven ability to develop relationships and work as a leader or team member.
• Hands-on technical experience with plant systems, QC, automation and data collection.
• Site assessments and formulation of tactical implementation plans.
• Training, coaching and mentoring with leadership and frontline staff.
• Ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance assessments at assigned sites including diagnosis and post-visit analysis.
• Analyze and improve plant production efficiencies while maintaining quality.
• Optimize operations to maximize margin and control costs with safety in mind.
• Align production planning with demand forecast and commercial strategy.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and sell OpEx and value-added strategy.
• Lead change management and site sustainability initiatives.
• Deliver training and coaching to enhance skills of site leaders and frontline staff.
• Support development of operational budgets including labor, materials and overhead.
