Job summary

Cemex USA invites engaged students to join the Ready-Mix Internship Development Program in Maryville, TN for a 10-week summer experience. You will be exposed to cement manufacturing, process improvements, data management and equipment maintenance.

Qualified candidates are pursuing CIM or related degrees with junior standing, a GPA of 2.5+ (3.0+ preferred), and demonstrated leadership. Responsibilities include safety, project work, and presenting results to leaders.

Qualifications

• Educational Foundation: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in CIM, Construction Science/Management, Business Admin/Management, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or related field with at least junior year standing.
• Academic Performance: GPA 2.5 or above; preference for 3.0+.
• Leadership & communication: Demonstrated leadership and clear idea presentation.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on exposure across Ready-Mix operations, cement manufacturing, process improvements, quality and reliability, equipment maintenance, production process, and data management.
• Engage in safety-first practices and promote a safe working environment.
• Work on project-based tasks, develop technical and soft skills, and present outcomes to leadership.
