Job summary

Titan Virginia Ready Mix in Sterling, VA is seeking a Sales Representative to promote concrete sales, grow the customer base, and respond to market trends. This exempt, salaried role reports to the Sales Manager and focuses on building lasting relationships with contractors and distributors.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in business or marketing (or equivalent) and 1–3 years in the construction or ready-mix industry.

Qualifications

• CCSP certification within 1 year of hire is required or pursued.
• Able to coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
• Strong business/financial acumen to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Proactive, team-oriented, and results-driven with deadlines.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• 4-year degree in business or marketing preferred.
• 1–3 years construction/ready-mix industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate expansion of sales to existing customers and development of new customers.
• Gather market data, conditions, and competition for bids and initiatives.
• Attain sales goals for territory, volume, and pricing.
• Develop and update monthly demand within the territory based on customer estimates.
• Stay informed on new products and participate in trade meetings.
• Build working relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain customer communications on deliveries, orders, and site prep.
• Assist accounts receivable in collection of monies.
• Develop territory intelligence: size, customers, competitors.
• Inform customers of price and supply trends.
• Serve as Safety and Logistics liaison on jobsites when needed.
