Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is a concrete materials supplier delivering ready-mixed concrete to construction sites across Ohio. A driver with a Class B CDL safely operates the mixer truck, follows dispatch instructions, and unloads aggregates to customer specifications.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, keeping equipment clean, and communicating with the dispatcher. Work hours vary by demand; candidates must be comfortable with nights and weekends and maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid minimum class B CDL.
• High school diploma preferred or equivalent; or minimum of 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures; ability to write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to job sites safely and efficiently.
• Follow dispatcher/plant manager instructions and adhere to delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues.
• Maintain truck and work area cleanliness; unload and handle materials as required.
• Collect money from customers and record transactions on receipts.
