Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a concrete mixer truck driver based in Medina, OH. The role delivers ready-mixed concrete to job sites, with duties including loading, unloading, and maintaining the vehicle and records.

A Class B CDL and DOT medical card are required, as well as the ability to work varying shifts and weekend hours. Responsibilities include safe operation, communication with dispatch, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid minimum Class B CDL
• Education: High-school diploma preferred or equivalent; or at least 1 year of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; basic math and report-writing abilities.
• DOT medical card and state-issued CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck safely to deliver to construction sites.
• Maintain clean vehicle and work area; follow OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safety practices.
• Communicate with dispatcher or plant manager about deliveries and tickets.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; keep records and receipts.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and basic yard work as needed.
