Job summary

The Shelly Company is seeking a concrete mixer truck driver to operate and deliver ready-mixed concrete to job sites across Ohio. You will follow dispatch instructions, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and perform safety inspections.

Night and weekend shifts may be required, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Candidates must have a valid Class B CDL and a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for related experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid minimum class B CDL.
• High school diploma preferred or equivalent; or minimum of 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites, following dispatch instructions and safety rules.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and vehicle; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Collect payments and record transactions; read and complete tickets with customer details.
• Communicate with Dispatcher or Plant Manager regarding deliveries and any issues.
• Adhere to OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safety practices; use PPE as required.
